Today Sarah's friend drove and we toured the Carolina Hotel and the Villiage of Pinehurst. It's such a charming place, all decorated for Christmas. I love the Southern charm here. It's so classy compared to Clarkston/Lewiston. The architecture mostly Colonial....brink structures with white pillars. It's very beautiful especially when decorated for Christmas!
We ate lunch at the Villiage Deli Shoppe. It's a busy little venue, but the food is great!
I love to listen to the people talk too. That Southern drawl is so fun. Everybody seems so nice here.
I found souvenirs that I can pack in carry-on luggage. Two little coasters.
Pinehurst is laid out really strangely. The streets just wind all over the place and if it were not for navigation apps, we would be so throughly lost! The streets don't go parallel in an organized fashion at all. They just bend and twist in all directions and if you don't know what you are doing you could end up going around in circles.
We came back from touring, each of us grabbed a few boxes from Sarah's car and then we wateched an epistode of Dr. Who.
